It was a good week to be British as they got an extra day off work thanks to the big Katy Perry concert. The writers’ strike continued,  terrifying  Americans with the thought of more CNN Town Halls. The soap opera world lost its beloved Jackie Zemen who portrayed Bobbie Spencer on General Hospital for 45 years. A King got a crown, a horse got some roses, an ex-Pres got a verdict,  and a congressman got a mug shot. Let’s check out  the internet’s reaction to it all! 

King Charles III had quite the day on Saturday, despite being upstaged by grandson Louis.

Meanwhile, 15-1 Mage was crowned winner of the Kentucky Derby, despite not beating Secretariat’s long-standing record.

A jury found Donald Trump guilty of sexual assault and character defamation. 

 

Not to be outdone, George Santos was arrested on fraud charges.
