The oft-dismissed Detroit Lions beat the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Then, the anticipated arrival of Aaron Rogers on the NY Jets was a bust - literally. More climate disaster as floods roared through Libya, killing tens of thousands of people. In the US, we commemorated 9/11, still grateful it hasn’t turned into a day of mattress sales.
