This week brings us the joyful month of June. The school year is over, vacation season has begun, and the debt ceiling is being lifted to the clear blue sky! Chick-Fil-A is accused of going woke for hiring a director of diversity. The anti-wokes threaten to boycott the franchise, but only on Sundays. The nation mourned as two popular cable shows, Ted Lasso and Succession, came to an end. And the sound of the ice cream truck was heard in our land. So, what was social media up to?
The week began with a three-day weekend meant to honor those who died in battle in service to our country. A grateful nation celebrated by wearing white shoes.
Former New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, preannounced that he will be announcing a run for the presidency next week. Perfect time to rehash some delightful memes of him in the beach chair, I say.
